Unique eats along the bikeway

Athens County, Ohio has the most varied collection of restaurants in the region. Many of them will be serving up fresh, local, farm-to-table foods delivered as both traditional fare and funky fusion dishes inspired from flavors afar. The Hocking Valley Scenic Railway departs from the train depot in Nelsonville, Ohio just beyond Mile 18, the bikeway’s northern terminus.

RICHLAND AVENUE PARK

cross the Richland Avenue bridge near mile 2.5
ride approximately 0.25 mile to Dairy Lane, turn right
find park 400 feet after, at right

DAIRY BARN ARTS CENTER

cross the Richland Avenue bridge near mile 2.5
ride approximately 0.25 mile to Dairy Lane, turn right
continue 0.6 mile to arts center at left

THE RIDGES & KENNEDY MUSEUM OF ART

UPTOWN ATHENS

Leave bikeway onto Richland Avenue and continue 0.5 mile (uphill) from bikeway along Richland Avenue
