About the bikeway
The 22-mile Hockhocking Adena Bikeway follows the Hocking River along an old railroad bed. It connects the City of Athens, Eclipse Company Town and the City of Nelsonville.

Enjoy the beauty of our Appalachian foothills as you ride trails through city parks, state parks, state forests and the Wayne National Forest. We currently have 90+ miles of MTB trail and a 10-mile gravel rail trail. There’s plenty of adventure for all skill levels.
