Baileys trail system

Chauncey, Ohio

Located in the heart of Southeast Ohio, the Baileys Trail System has 31 miles of trail completed — built for all skill levels of riding. There are plans to complete 88 miles of MTB trail. In addition, trailhead access will exist in three local communities and a connection will be built to the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway. While these trails are designed with mountain biking in mind, they are also permitted for hiking, running and walking.

The Baileys Trail System is closed to bicycles January 3 – March 31, 2022, but open year-round for other trail uses.

Strouds run State Park

Athens, Ohio

Explore over 26 miles of singletrack that wrap all the way around Dow Lake and connect the City of Athens with Strouds Run State Park. This trail system is accessible from Sells Park in Athens and from trailheads at Strouds Run State Park.

Lake hope State Park

McArthur, Ohio

With more than 25 miles of singletrack open to mountain bikes, there are plenty of riding options at Lake Hope. Eight biking trails cross hills and ravines, offering challenges suited to intermediate and advanced cyclists.
